quick service, food was decent, staff was very loudly talking behind where I was sitting and the conversation was not very family friendly

The food was so very good. There were 3 of us, each ordered some thing different and we all took turns trying out the others dinner. Our server was fantastic and very accommodating to our needs. Definitely will be back!!! If you like good ol' country food like your grandma used to make, this is the place for you!!!

Well after ordering online and giving a 15% gratuity the food was pretty much on time but did not get all that I ordered. We received 6 rolls and only one little scoop of butter for all those rolls which is no great big deal, we do have butter at the house. Although it's been a while since our last visit we do come as a frequent customer.😡

Great place to go for comfort food. He goes twice in the past month and was great both times. Had an amazing chicken taco salad both times, took the veggie plate to-go, and last time was there during happy hour and had the market mushrooms and they were great! This last time was on a Wednesday and their cheese poblano soup was incredibly good! And of course always love the cornbread and dinner rolls.

I haven't been to a BEP in about 20 years but I remembered how much I liked the Squash Casserole and other veggies like fried okra and of course fried mushrooms (yum!). My entree was prime rib. Cooked perfectly!! And I had to have lots of horseradish sauce. My friend had Chicken Parm. It was huge! Served with pasta and sauce. The others had Tilapia, shrimp, and pork chops. No one was disappointed; we didn't wait long for any food, and it was hot, cooked well, and fresh. We had a good time and got a little loud-the wine and beer was flowing freely. Shocker: I had iced tea! Huh? The server was good to us and very helpful. The manager also stopped by. I recommend this restaurant if you want well-prepared fresh food and good service. We will definitely be returning, even though it's a little far from our neighborhood.

Foods is always fresh and delicious. Staff is extremely helpful and respectful. Staff is Consistently Cleaning and sanitizing. The young lady Gabby(the one that works the bar) Was patient and pleasant with my while I was ordering. Which was awesome because I was ordering for my grandmother and mother and they were a bit confused with the Menu items.

Omg that food was so delicious and it was so much i can't wait to go back. I want to try everything on the menu

Excellent service, the food was great with big portions for the price value. I had great service from Richardo last night that I brought my husband tonight and had amazing service with Roxanne. The dinner rolls are soft and amazing. The manager told us of an email program with even more savings.

I haven't eaten there in like 5 years and the decor hasn't changed nor has the menu. The food used to be great. However this time everything I ordered was over cooked. Service was fast and our waitress was nice but the clientele was like a buffet. Definitely need to make changes. I ordered a rare steak, it was well done. It's like they're pumping u through like cattle at a slaughter house. Totally disappointed and will not go back. Like I said "used" to b good.

I'm from Texas and BeP is nostalgia. Food was great and the service was prompt and friendly. The ambiance was a little lonely, I assume due to COVID-19.

Very good. I was pleasantly surprised. I haven’t eaten at a black eyed pea in 20+ years. I will go more often now.

The staff was very friendly and helped guide us through the menu and daily specials. They have us huge drink cups which was awesome. We started with rolls, cornbread, and honey and it was amazing. I got the green Chile mac and cheese it is spectacular and so full of flavor. My spouse got the meat loaf sandwich and said his was also very good. I was very pleased with out time in this establishment 😊

We have always seen this place but we have never made it in till today... everyone was nice... Eddie our server was the best! Its definitely a must go in and enjoy... I should have took the pictures before but I totally forgot... thanks Eddie for your great service.. my husband said he will definitely come back. God bless...

Service was good, food was good, better than I remembered from before.

Visited the S.Colorado location recently. The server was attentive and very friendly. Being past 70, I ordered off the Seniors' menu.i had one of my all-time favorites-liver and onions. It was delicious and so was the mashed potatoes and green beans. The entire bill came to $11.00.i highly recommend this restaurant !
